Biography
Stefan Tigges, MD, MSCR, is Professor in the Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging of the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Tigges is also the Director of the required third year medical student Radiology Clerkship. He is active in teaching medical students, residents and fellows.
A board certified diagnostic radiologist, Dr. Tigges specializes in cardiothoracic imaging.
Education
Dr. Tigges obtained his Medical Degree and Master of Science in Clinical Research from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology from Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He then completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Tigges' research interests include medical education and novel teaching strategies.
