Biography
Hari M. Trivedi, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences with a joint appointment in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Trivedi is the co-director of the Health Innovation and Translational Informatics (HITI) lab at Emory University where he works on multiple machine learning projects related to radiology, and has supervised over 30 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. His clinical expertise is in emergency and trauma imaging with fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging.
Dr. Trivedi is a member of the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Program at Winship. He holds professional memberships with Radiological Society of North America, Society for Skeletal Radiology, and American College of Radiology.
Education
Dr. Trivedi received his MD from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at University of California, San Francisco.
Research
Dr. Trivedi's research interest is in the application of machine learning (artificial intelligence) to solve problems in radiology, most recently developing algorithms to improve breast cancer screening.
