Biography
Qun Wang, MD, PhD, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. A board certified pathologist, Dr. Wang's clinical focus is in breast and gynecologic pathology with a subspecialty in cytopathology.
Dr. Wang is a member of the Cell and Molecular Biology Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.
Education
Dr. Wang received her Medical Degree and Master of Science in pathology as well as completed her residency in pathology at Jilin University, China. She earned her PhD at Akita University School of Medicine, Japan and Jilin University, China. She completed postdoctoral fellowship trainings in molecular genetic pathology and molecular oncology at Peking Union Medical College Cancer Institute & Hospital, China, and at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She completed additional medical training with a residency in pathology at University of California Irvine Medical Center, a surgical pathology fellowship at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and a cytology fellowship at Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Wang has authored or co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and has presented at many national and international meetings.
