Biography
Darlene Anderson, RN, BSN, OCN, is a nurse navigator at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Mrs. Anderson's nursing career began at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN as an oncology staff nurse. She relocated to Atlanta, Georgia in 1993 and accepted a position as a staff nurse on the medical oncology floor at Grady Memorial Hospital where she worked for many years before joining the team at Winship in 2004. She has been at Winship for the last 16 years and has worked in different roles with the BMT/Hematology program before transitioning into her current role as a nurse navigator with the Glenn Family Breast Center.
Mrs. Anderson is a local and national member of the Oncology Nursing Society and a certified oncology nurse.
Education
Mrs. Anderson graduated in May 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Austin Peay State University in Clarkesville, TN.
