Biography
Deanna Green, RN, BSN, is the Patient Care Coordinator at Emory Midtown Breast Imaging Center where she works with patients from the point of abnormal findings to resolution of diagnosis and treatment. In her current role, Deanna works with patients through education on early detection by performing self-breast exams and regular screening mammograms. Ms. Green provides a timely movement throughout our breast center to ensure all patients have received the proper support and referrals to our medical/surgical oncologist.
Prior to joining the breast imaging team, Ms. Green worked as a Liver Transport Coordinator at the Emory Transplant Center. In addition, she worked as a travel nurse in the Cardiovascular Step Unit in various hospitals throughout the country.
Ms. Green is a member of the Academy of Oncology Nurse and Patient Navigators.
Education
Ms. Green received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Fl.
