Kelly Klimansky, RN, BSN, is a nurse navigator assisting patients with breast and gastrointestinal cancer at Winship Cancer Institute. Ms. Klimansky nursing career began as a pediatric and adult inpatient palliative care and hospice nurse in Phoenix, Arizona, where she had the opportunity to work for one of the largest and most respected not-for-profit hospices in the country, Hospice of the Valley. Kelly has been at Emory since 2011, working as an inpatient hospice nurse both at Emory University Hospital and Emory University Hospital Midtown. She made the transition to oncology nurse navigator where she is able to put her years of therapeutic nursing to use, providing support to patients during their journey through the uncertainties of a cancer diagnosis.
Ms. Klimansky received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
