Biography
Praphasiri "Nuit" Luangruangrong, RN, CRNI BSN, BBA, is a Nurse Navigator at Winship Cancer Institute working with patients in the multidisciplinary prostate and genitourinary cancer teams at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital.
Her nursing career spans over more than three decades in various areas of patient care. She started working at Saint Joseph's Hospital of Atlanta as an oncology staff nurse in March 1985. She then worked as a gastro-intestinal/vascular staff nurse and a medical and surgical nurse for over six years, a Gastrointestinal Diagnostic Unit staff nurse for over six years, an intensive care unit/infection control research nurse for over two years, a clinical IV team nurse for nearly 10 years as a PICC team nurse specialist and as a scholar nurse for the radiation oncology team for over six years. Since 2009, she has worked as a charge nurse for the outpatient radiation oncology team and has been a critical part of the team providing outstanding care to all patients undergoing radiation oncology.
Education
Mrs. Luangruangrong received her BSN from the University of Texas, School of Nursing in Arlington, Texas in 1984. She is a Certified Registered Nurse of Infusion (CRNI).
