Biography
Kristen Schappeler, RN, BSN, OCN, is an oncology nurse navigator located at Winship at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. Mrs. Schappeler supports patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer and colorectal cancer by ensuring timely access to care, providing education, alleviating barriers and ensuring access to necessary resources. She has over 14 years of oncology nursing experience in both pediatric and adult oncology encompassing inpatient care, private oncology physician practice, outpatient infusion and hospital-based infusion areas.
Education
Mrs. Schappeler graduated from University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She then obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University.
