Biography
Russell Brown, LCSW, is a social worker working with gastrointestinal, genitourinary, breast cancer, brain cancer, gynecological, aerodigestive, and sarcoma patients.
Mr. Brown has worked in family and individual mental health counseling using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as well as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and facilitated substance abuse psychotherapy groups in inpatient and outpatient setting.
Education
Mr. Brown received his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University, Masters in Social Work and certificate in Marriage and Family therapy from the University of Georgia. As a part of his master's program, he completed an internship at Winship Cancer Institute where he worked with the bone marrow transplant team, hematology team, brain cancer, breast cancer, and melanoma patients.
