Biography

Trisha Burrello, MS, CCRP, CCRC, is an assistant director of clinical staffing in the Clinical Trials Office at Winship Cancer Institute. In her role, Ms. Burrello is responsible for supervision of the research staff coordinating the clinical trials at Winship Cancer Institute (Clifton campus), Emory Johns Creek Hospital, Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital, Grady Memorial Hospital and Atlanta VA Medical Center.

Ms. Burrello has over ten years of clinical trials experience including eight years in oncology. She previously served as the Assistant Director of Clinical Operations at Yale University. She has extensive experience in the National Cancer Institute's Experimental Therapeutics Clinical Trials Network (ETCTN) and National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN) trial oversight and audit preparation. She has additional clinical research experience in cardiology pharmaceutical and surgical trials at HealthQuest/Vassar Brothers Medical Center and mental health research at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Education

Ms. Burrello received her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a Master of Science in Health, Activity and Chronic Diseases, with a focus in research, from the University of Pittsburgh.
