Biography

Suzy Cahn, MMSc, CGC joined the Winship Cancer Genetic Counseling Program in June 2021. Ms. Cahn provides comprehensive genetic counseling services for individuals who are at risk for hereditary cancer at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University and Emory Decatur Hospital. Her role includes the provision of genetics education, risk assessment, test coordination, and psychosocial support. She values the importance of identifying individuals and families with hereditary cancer syndromes and helping them receive recommended screenings and services. Prior to joining Winship, she worked as a cancer genetic counselor at Northside Hospital in Atlanta.

Education

Ms. Cahn received her Master of Medical Science in Human Genetics and Genetic Counseling from Emory University School of Medicine in 2019. She is certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
