Biography
Andrea Clement serves as the Associate Director of Public Relations at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, Georgia's only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. She has more than 25 years of experience in the health care industry including medical practice consulting, health care recruitment, and media relations.
Prior to joining Winship, Clement has worked as a communications and media relations director for a variety of companies nationwide, including health care consulting, clinical research, and health tech companies ranging from start-ups to multi-billion-dollar global corporations.
She has freelanced for numerous outlets as a health care reporter, including The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta Business Chronicle, and the New York Times Company, covering a variety of health care topics including health careers, aging, women's health, and more.
Clement serves as a Board Member for I Will Survive, Inc., an Atlanta-based non-profit that provides support and resources to patients with breast cancer, and their families.
Education
Clement graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia.
