Bhakti Dwivedi, PhD, MS is Associate Bioinformatics Scientist within the Bioinformatics and Systems Biology Shared Resource at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. Dr. Dwivedi joined the Winship faculty from the University of Florida where she was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar. Prior to that, she was a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Dayton.
Dr. Dwivedi collaborates with Winship clinical investigators in the areas of breast cancer, glioblastoma, head and neck cancer, and myeloma by providing support in study design, data analysis, interpretation, and assessment of clinical/therapeutic relevance of next generation sequence (NGS) data.
Dr. Dwivedi received her PhD in Biology from the University of Dayton in Dayton, OH. She earned both her MS in Microbiology and her BS in Biology from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University in Agra, India.
Dr. Dwivedi earned The John J. Comer Graduate Research Award in 2008 for research excellence in biomedical science from the Department of Biology at the University of Dayton.
