Biography
Samantha Dyar, LMSW, MBE, joined Winship Cancer Institute of Emory social services team in 2023. She has worked in medical social work since 2016, working primarily in the acute care setting at a level one trauma center and as an emergency room social worker.
Ms. Dyar is a member of National Association of Social Workers, Association of Oncology Social Work, Georgia Social Work Oncology Group, and the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities
Education
Ms. Dyar has two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Georgia in Political Science and International Affairs. She also received her Masters in Social Work from University of Georgia. In addition, she holds a Masters of Bioethics from Columbia University in New York City.
