Biography
Megan Roberson, LMSW is a social worker for patients in the Department of Otolaryngology's Division of Head and Neck Surgery at Emory University Hospital Midtown. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker who is passionate about providing counseling and support services to individuals and their families experiencing life's challenges, specifically those facing medical illness, as well as those navigating through the aging process.
Before joining Winship Cancer Institute, Ms. Roberson provided social work services in subsidized independent living for older adults, hospice care, palliative care, skilled nursing care, and inpatient behavioral health. Ms. Roberson works in the intersection of physical and mental health. She aims to empower, support, and assist people in removing barriers so that they can achieve their highest potential quality of life.
Education
Ms. Roberson is a Licensed Master Social Worker. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work, Master of Social Work and Certificate in Gerontology from The University of Georgia. She speaks Spanish fluently.
