Annual Winship Oncology Nursing Symposium
The Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University hosts an oncology nursing symposium annually. The conference provides nurses and health professionals with practical strategies and tools to improve patient outcomes and advance professional goals. This course offers an opportunity to earn up to 20 contact hours through Emory Nursing Professional Development Center (ENPDC) and is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Winship Nursing Grand Rounds
The Winship Nursing Grand Rounds are held once a quarter. Although topics are often in relation to oncology, the drive for agenda selection is much more global, such as new future directions of and legislative actions affecting healthcare. The course offers 1.0 contact hour through Emory Nursing Professional Development Center, accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
"New to Oncology" Course
The New to Oncology orientation course was developed to provide nurses with minimum of 2 years of clinical experience and new to oncology educational content related to the specialty. This orientation was designed to supplement the standard departmental nursing orientation and to increase the cancer care knowledge and skills of newly hired nursing staff. This program starts with an overview of cancer and goes through the trajectory of care, ending with survivorship.

Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) Review Course
The OCN review course is offered by Emory Healthcare for all clinical professionals interested in attaining certification in oncology nursing. This 2 day course provides an overview of the major content areas of the OCN test blue print and strategies for preparing and taking the oncology nursing certification examination. The course offers up to 14.0 contact hours through Emory Healthcare, an approved provider unit of continuing nursing education by the Georgia Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
