Biography Dr. Patrick Sullivan joined the faculty of Emory’s Division of Surgical Oncology and the Winship Cancer Institute in 2011 after completing his fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Clinical Specialties Dr. Sullivan specializes in diseases of the colon and rectum with expertise in the surgical management of primary and recurrent malignancy of the colon and rectum, inflammatory bowel disease (Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s disease), diverticular disease, and anorectal disorders. He has a particular interest in the use of minimally invasive techniques including the use of laparoscopic and robotic approaches in treatment of diseases of the colon and rectum. Dr. Sullivan works in close collaboration with gastrointestinal specialists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, urologists and interventional radiologists to develop individualized, multidisciplinary management strategy for each patient.
