Biography Dr. Chen began practicing at Emory in 2000 and is affiliated with Emory University Hospital, Grady Memorial Hospital, and Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Clinical Specialties Dr. Chen specializes in dermatology, and has been Board Certified since 1997.
Research Focus Research Interests: Dr. Chen is interested in quantifying the burden of skin disease, particularly the quality of life and economic burden on patients and society as a whole. She is also interested in testing new technologies in the delivery of dermatologic care. She has participated in numerous Phase I-IV clinical studies of novel therapeutic regimens for the treatment of both inflammatory skin disorders and skin cancers.
Education Dr. Chen earned her Medical Degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed her Internship at Harvard University at the Beth Israel Hospital before going on to complete her Residency at Emory University in Dermatology. She obtained her Health Services Research Master’s Degree at Stanford University.

Memberships Cancer Prevention and Control Research Program

She is a founding member of the Pigmented Lesion Group of the Melanoma Prevention Working Group, which reports to both ECOG and SWOG (European and SouthWestern Oncology Groups).
