About Us

The Human Tissue Procurement Service is a shared resource that collects, stores, and distributes human tissues to support the research of clinicians and scientists at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. We are located at Emory University Hospital with affiliated banking sites at Emory University Hospital Midtown and Grady Memorial Hospital. We maintain strong ties with multiple disease specific banks from established and developing programs, each with their own research coordinator, pathologist, and specialized protocols.
