Oncology Nursing Education

Oncology Nurses have a vital role in the care and education of patients. At Winship we invest in keeping them current and informed with many opportunities to continue their education and review.

Annual Oncology Nursing Symposium
Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University hosts an annual oncology nursing symposium providing an intimate learning environment in which varied facets of oncology nursing are explored, including: inpatient nursing, outpatient nursing, advanced nursing practice and research nursing. Nationally recognized speakers review clinical experiences, present solutions to ethical challenges, and provide updates on current research in nursing practices. The symposium updates heath care professionals on the emerging trends in oncology nursing clinical practice and research, and provides participants with practical strategies and hands-on tools to improve their nursing practice. The next oncology nursing symposium will be held in March 2014. Check back for details!
