Featured model Alia and husband Jemir walk the runway at the 2026 Friends of Winship Fashion a Cure Fashion Show.
The 2026 Friends of Winship Fashion a Cure Fashion Show, held at Atlanta’s Piedmont Driving Club on April 28, raised more than $640,000 to support research at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University focused on cancers that affect women and their care.
More than 550 guests attended the event, which included a fashion show, live auction, raffle and luncheon.
The runway show featured clothing from local boutiques and designers modeled by cancer survivors, caregivers, physicians, researchers and volunteers. Models carried roses to denote their connection to cancer: red for survivors, yellow for loved ones and caregivers, and orange in memory of a loved one.
Alia, a survivor of both ovarian and breast cancer, walked the runway with her husband and appeared in a video shown at the start of the program. Watch the video to learn more about her story.
