Winship nurses earn national spotlight at ONS Congress

Winship nurses attend the 2025 ONS Congress.

Clinicians and researchers from Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University will join more than 3,000 nurses in San Antonio for the 51st Annual Oncology Nursing Society Congress, May 13–17, to present research, share best practices and hone skills.

The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), with a membership exceeding 35,000, is dedicated to advancing excellence in oncology nursing and driving improvements in cancer care through advocacy, education and scholarship.

The 2026 ONS Congress will showcase research abstracts and quality improvement projects from presenters around the world. Winship's 18 oral and poster presentations include the following.
