Parking and Transportation

Parking and transportation information is provided based on the location of your cancer care and treatment.

Below is a listing of locations with the respective parking and transportation options available.

Winship Cancer Institute (Clifton campus)

We encourage patients and guests to use either the valet services or the Emory Patient Parking Deck, located behind Winship and the Emory Clinics. Parking is also available at the Emory University Hospital Tower.

Valet parking: Access is available from either the front entrance on Uppergate Drive (1st floor) or back entrance (Plaza level) next to Emory Clinic A off Clifton Drive. Valet service is $8.00 daily and is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Cash or check accepted.

Hourly and long term parking: Covered parking is available in the Lowergate East parking deck with access available from Lowergate Drive behind Winship Cancer Institute and Emory Clinic B. Once parked, entrance to Winship Cancer Institute from the hourly parking deck is accessible via the pedestrian bridge. Optional covered parking is also available in the Lowergate West parking deck under the new Emory University Hospital Tower.

Depending on your length of stay, costs vary from free for the first half hour to up to $12.00 for 7+ hours. Weekly parking passes are available at $40.00 for 5 days. Cash, credit or debit card, or check accepted. Contact the Emory Parking Office with any questions at (404) 727-7275.

Public transportation: MARTA, Atlanta's mass transit system operates several bus lines accessing either Winship Cancer Institute or Emory University Hospital. The Emory campus is accessible from the Lindbergh MARTA station, and from the Inman Park station via the #6-Emory bus, or from the Arts Center station and the Avondale station on the #36-North Decatur bus. Also, the #245 "Blue Flyer" Kensington/Emory express bus serves Emory from the Lindbergh and Kensington stations. Contact MARTA at (404) 848-4711 or visit their website for more information.

Complimentary transportation: The American Cancer Society Road to Recovery program provides transportation to and from treatment for people who have cancer and do not have a ride or are unable to drive themselves. Volunteer drivers donate their time and the use of their cars so that patients can receive the life-saving treatments they need. Winship at Emory Midtown and Emory University Hospital Midtown

Winship at Emory Midtown has valet and self-parking options.

Emory Johns Creek Hospital

Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital

Free public parking is available for infusion, radiation oncology and medical oncology patients in the Purple Parking Deck. Ground transport/shuttle service available to other departments on campus.
