Richard Stamper
Melanoma patient

"We're grateful for the immediate action that was taken and for the personal care and attention we've received from Winship."

Headaches and memory loss sent Richard Stamper to the emergency room at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital. Scans revealed two brain tumors and a lung tumor caused by metastatic melanoma. In a few short months, he had surgery to remove the brain tumors, gamma knife surgery to remove remaining tumor tissue and he started an immunotherapy drug combination for the lung tumor. Richard and his wife Kim say they're grateful for the immediate action that was taken and for the personal care and attention they've received from Winship.
