Fatemeh Ardeshir, MD, MSc

Biography

Board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology, Dr. Ardeshir`s primary clinical focus is thoracic oncology including lung cancer, mesothelioma and thymic tumors.

Dr. Ardeshir is a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. She is also one of the ECOG-ACRIN trial investigator.

Research

Dr. Ardeshir's scholarly and research activities are on new target discovery and defining an immune resistance mechanism in lung cancer. She also has clinical and research interests in thymic epithelial tumors.

Dr. Ardeshir has been published in several leading journals including New England Jounral of Medicine, Clinical Lung Cancer, JCO-Precision Oncology, Lung Cancer Journal and Nature Review Clinical Oncology.
