Dacheng Fan, PhD, MMed is an instructor in the Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology at Emory School of Medicine. Dr. Fan is a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.
Education
Dr. Fan earned his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Following this, he completed his postdoctoral training in Cancer Biology at the Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology in the School of Medicine at Emory University. Prior to his PhD, he received his MMed in Medicinal Chemistry from Ocean University of China.

Dr. Fan's research includes developing a fluorescence-based assay to characterize the enzyme O-linked N-acetylglucosamine transferase and identifying small molecules that regulate PPIs associated with cancer driver mutations to suppress tumor cell growth.
