Background
Dr. Khorjekar is a radiologist in the Division of Breast Imaging and a strong advocate for patients. Dr. Khorjekar previously served as an assistant professor in the Departmet of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Maryland and as a radiologist with Adventist Healthcare in Germantown, Maryland.
She earned her medical degree from Terna Medical College in India. She completed a nuclear medicine residency at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC followed by diagnostic radiology residency and a breast imaging/mammography fellowship at George WashingtonUniversity Hospital in Washington, DC.
