Dr. Shelton is an associate professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine.

Dr. Shelton received his MD from the University of North Carolina. He did his internship at the Emory University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the Department of Radiation Oncology, Emory University School of Medicine.

Dr. Shelton's research areas include gynecologic cancers, specifically of the cervix and uterus looking retrospectively at outcomes; and genitourinary cancers, specifically phase II initiated bladder study.
