Sherri Smart, MD, PhD, is an instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. As a pediatric solid tumor physician scientist, Dr. Smart is based at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Education
Dr. Smart earned her MD and PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Emory University in Atlanta.
