Winship Cancer Institute membership includes over 300 faculty members from Emory University from a cross-section of disciplines, including the School of Medicine, Rollins School of Public Health, Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, and Emory College. Virtually all of these faculty members are engaged in clinical or basic research, and most are collaborators on translational research projects. Research encompasses cancer prevention, oncology, pediatric oncology, molecular therapy, immunology, and cancer genetics. A group of five shared resource facilities provides high technology services to investigators throughout Emory University as well as those from other institutions.
