Emory University Hospital Cancer Registry maintains a computerized database with over 70,000 cancer cases diagnosed and/or treated at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. The Cancer Registry contributes to the mission, vision and goals of the cancer program through the collection of complete, accurrate and timely cancer data and ongoing follow-up of patients.
The data maintained by the Cancer Registry is available for use by the medical staff, hospital administration and other health care professions for special studies and outcome analysis, marketing and planning, medical education, quality improvement and research. The Cancer Registry at Emory is fully accredited by the Commission on Cancer.

Visit Georgia Center for Cancer Statistics (GCCS), a division of the Department of Epidemiology in the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, which provides population-based incidence data for a five-county region in the southeastern United States, as part of the National Cancer Institute's Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) Program.
