The Georgia Cancer Summit—which convenes public health professionals, healthcare providers and advocates, researchers, and community organizations engaged in cancer research, control, and prevention—is an annual event aimed at promoting cancer health equity and reducing the cancer burden in the state of Georgia.

Registration is open for the 2025 Georgia Cancer Summit, which will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia.
With the theme “Advancing Cancer Health Equity Through Evidence and Innovation,” this year's summit brought a capacity crowd to Middle Georgia State University in Macon, Georgia, on Jan. 25, with a networking event the evening before. More than 125 public health professionals, health care providers, health advocates, researchers, and community organizations involved in community-engaged cancer research, control and prevention from across the state of Georgia attended the event.
