| | FDA Approves New Myeloma Drug Tested at Winship | Winship was the first center, worldwide, to open the Phase II trial of daratumumab. Trial results, released earlier this year by lead author Sagar Lonial, MD, chief medical officer of Winship, were pivotal to the FDA's rapid review of this treatment for advanced-stage multiple myeloma.

| | Legislators Tour Winship | Winship and Emory's Office of Government and Community Affairs hosted members of the Georgia House of Representatives, the Georgia Hospital Association and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce on November 19. Guests were given a tour of the cancer research lab facilities and had a chance to engage with Winship leadership.
