First Program in Cancer Biology student presents dissertation

Gina Alesi is the first student in the Laney Graduate School Program in Cancer Biology to present her public PhD defense. Alesi, who earned a masters and bachelor degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Michigan, presented her dissertation on "Characterization of Protein Kinase Signaling in Tumor Metastasis and Cancer Drug Resistance."
