Shin Honored by AAAS

Winship physician-scientist Dong Moon Shin, MD was elected to the rank of AAAS Fellow by the Council of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. The prestigious award honors those whose "efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications are scientifically or socially distinguished." A formal induction ceremony will take place in February in Boston.

Winship Specialists to Present at ASH 2016
More than a dozen Winship physicians and researchers will share their research at the 58th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) in San Diego, California, on December 3-6. Winship specialists will participate in the conference through speaker sessions, oral presentations and poster abstracts.

CancerQuest Website Gets a New Look
Be sure to check out the newly re-launched CancerQuest website! CancerQuest is a cancer education and outreach program at Emory University that provides reliable information about cancer biology and treatment. The website, which is now mobile-friendly, is available in English and Spanish and two Chinese versions are in the works.
