Winship will celebrate its 80th anniversary in October 2017. We need your help in selecting The Winship 80. These are people who have had an impact on our work to transform cancer treatment through innovative research. They can be survivors, caregivers, community leaders, volunteers, researchers, advocates, and philanthropists.

Lonial Named to MED-C Investigator Core
Winship Chief Medical Officer Sagar Lonial, MD has been named to the investigator core of the non-profit organization Molecular Evidence Development Consortium (MED-C). The investigator core will oversee the organization's N1 Registry, which will combine standardized high quality next-generation sequencing with clinical outcomes.

Dunwoody Golfers Raise $225,000 for Winship Prostate Cancer Research
Winship Executive Director Walter J. Curran, Jr., MD was on hand to receive a check from the Dunwoody Senior Men's Golf Association. The money was raised earlier this year at the annual John H. Kauffman Prostate Cancer Research Fundraiser.
 
 
 
     
 
 
Imaging Shared Resource Pizza Social
The Integrated Cellular Imaging Shared Resource is hosting a pizza social at noon on September 7 in the Health Sciences Research Building lobby. There will be a short presentation on new technology, including the new lattice light sheet.
