Winship Researchers Receive Avon Grant

Principal investigator Sheryl Gabram-Mendola, MD, MBA and colleagues from Winship's Glenn Family Breast Center are the recipients of a grant from the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade Board of Managers. The grant will focus on breast cancer outreach and clinical access for women in underserved communities.

Bruner Presents at Inauguration Academic Symposium

Three Winship Residents Earn ASCO Merit Awards

Radiation oncology resident Jim Zhong, MD and surgery residents Alexandra Lopez-Aguiar, MD and Cecilia Ethun, MD are the recipients of 2017 Merit Awards in Gastrointestinal Cancers and Cancer Survivorship from the Conquer Cancer Foundation of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Clifton Road to Close During Weekend Construction

Sections of Clifton Road is due to be closed for major construction of the Emory Hospital Tower. The existing hospital pedestrian bridge is scheduled for removal February 24-26.

Winship Celebrates Valentine's Day

Winship Volunteer Services will be giving out special "love bug" treats to patients, staff and visitors on February 14. Volunteers with baskets of goodies will be stationed at concierge and receptions desks at all Winship locations.
