Atlanta To Host First International Triple-Negative Breast Cancer Conference

Organized by Drs. Ritu Aneja, Mylin Torres, and Emad A. Rakha, the first International Triple-Negative Breast Cancer Conference will take place in Atlanta September 18-20 at Georgia State University.

Mentorship Event: Emory Summer Teaching Intensive

Emory's Center for Faculty Development and Excellence is offering a two-day summer teaching intensive August 10-11 in the Woodruff Library. The intensive consists of seven modules led by Emory faculty and staff. All faculty are welcome.

Winship's new National Cancer Institute comprehensive cancer center designation is due in part to groundbreaking transdisciplinary research that bridges basic, clinical, and population sciences. Parks Among Top Road Race Finishers

Completing the 10-kilometer course in just over 32 minutes, radiation oncology resident Jason Parks, MD was the 8th fastest Georgian to run this year's AJC Peachtree Road Race on July 4.
