Symposium To Showcase Summer Scholars Research

Winship's new National Cancer Institute comprehensive cancer center designation is due in part to groundbreaking transdisciplinary research that bridges basic, clinical, and population sciences. Pioneering work by Rafi Ahmed, PhD (pictured) has led to new cancer immunotherapy drugs and collaborations to make these therapies even more effective.

Parks Among Top Road Race Finishers
Completing the 10-kilometer course in just over 32 minutes, radiation oncology resident Jason Parks, MD was the 8th fastest Georgian to run this year's AJC Peachtree Road Race on July 4.
