Winship Hosts Nursing Symposium

The 9th annual Winship Oncology Nursing Symposium took place over the weekend, with close to 300 nurses from across the Southeast in attendance. The symposium updated health care professionals on emerging trends, practical strategies, and tools to improve nursing practices. Match Day 2017
Emory University School of Medicine participated in the annual Match Day ceremony on Friday, March 17. At noon eastern time, medical seniors across the country learned the institutions where they will continue their training after graduation.

Winship Science Takes Center Stage in San Francisco

Executive Director Walter J. Curran, Jr., MD and radiation oncology resident Richard Cassidy, MD (pictured above) attended the Multidisciplinary Thoracic Cancers Symposium in San Francisco, March 16-18.
