People Behind CCC

Winship's new National Cancer Institute comprehensive cancer center designation is due in part to the Shared Resources, including Cancer Animal Models, which are integral to scientific discovery. The Cancer Animal Models Shared Resource assists investigators in developing and analyzing appropriate animal models for cancer research, and as such it plays an important role in translating research discoveries into potential treatments. Pictured: Melissa Gilbert-Ross, PhD, director of the Cancer Animal Models Shared Resource, with PhD-student Briana Brown and research specialist Chang-Soo Seong, PhD.
