Help Winship 5K Reach Its $1M Goal!

The 7th annual Winship Win the Fight 5K Race/Walk is close to raising $1 million for cancer research at Winship, with donations being accepted through Nov. 30. Mark your calendars for next year's Winship 5K scheduled for Oct. 13, 2018. Shaib Selected for Hirshberg Award
Winship oncologist Walid Shaib, MD is the recipient of a seed grant from the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. The award will support Shaib's study of the effect of treatment on immune pathways in pancreatic adenocarcinoma.

Save the Date: Winship Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy Retreat
Winship is hosting a Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy Retreat on Thursday, Jan. 4 from noon to 5pm in the HSRB Auditorium. The goal of the retreat is to further develop synergy and collaboration between the strong basic, translational, and clinical immunology researchers across the Emory campus.
