Winship 5K on Pace to Raise Record Amount to Benefit Cancer Research

More than 3,400 runners and walkers helped to raise a record amount of money over the weekend for cancer research at Winship Cancer Institute. The 7th annual Winship Win the Fight 5K Run/Walk, held on Saturday, Oct. 14, brought in more than $932,000.

Ahmed Selected for Coley Award

Rafi Ahmed, PhD, director of the Emory Vaccine Center and a Winship member, has been selected to receive the 2017 William B. Coley Award for Distinguished Research in Basic Immunology from the Cancer Research Institute.
