| | Buchwald Receives ASCO Young Investigator Award | Zachary Buchwald, MD, PhD, a 3rd year resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology, is the recipient of a 2018 Young Investigator Award from the Conquer Cancer Foundation of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). The $50,000 grant will support his research into how radiation stimulates an anti-cancer immune response.

| | | | Register: Glenn Family Breast Center Retreat | The Glenn Family Breast Center at Winship will hold its 3rd annual retreat on Friday, May 11 from 7:30am to 12:30pm in Emory's Health Sciences Research Building. The retreat will include a scientific session, breast center clinical updates, and a "Shark Tank" competition to fund a new investigator-initiated study up to $50,000.
