Winship Study Aims to Reduce Breast Cancer Outcomes Disparities

Drs. Preeti Subhedar and Mylin Torres were awarded a two-year, $250,000 research award from the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and Pfizer Global Medical Grants. The study will develop and implement stage and treatment-specific breast cancer algorithms across all Winship and Grady cancer sites with the goal of increasing treatment compliance and improving outcomes among underserved patients.
