Shanmugam Receives LLS Research Grant
Mala Shanmugam, PhD has received a three-year, $600,000 Translational Research Program Award from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). The award will fund Shanmugam's project: "Deciphering the Metabolic Basis for t(11;14) Multiple Myeloma Venetoclax Sensitivity."

Parker To Be Honored By Lombardi Cancer Foundation
Catherine Parker, MSN, RN, OCN, unit director of Winship's largest infusion center, has been selected to receive the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation's Leaders For A Cure award. Parker will be recognized at a ceremony on Jan. 31 in Atlanta.

The Particle Therapy Co-Operative Group North America will hold a conference on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 in Winship's Kauffman Auditorium. The meeting, co-chaired by Mohammad Khan, MD, PhD, will focus on the emerging role of proton therapy in lymphomas.
