Falcons honor Winship patients during "Crucial Catch" game

As part of Winship's partnership with the Atlanta Falcons for October's Crucial Catch initiative, a group of Winship patients and caregivers were celebrated during a halftime ceremony at the Oct. 20th Falcons home game. Escorted onto the field by Falcons legends, the honorees included Tamara Mobley, whose story was featured in a video that played throughout Mercedes-Benz stadium.

Bilen receives Prostate Cancer Foundation award
Mehmet Asim Bilen, MD is the recipient of a 2019 Young Investigator Award from the Prostate Cancer Foundation for his project, "Priming the metastatic prostate tumor microenvironment with TLR activation and IL2 to respond to checkpoint blockade."
