Markers of anal cancer among Atlanta women

Drs. Lisa Flowers, Cecile Lahiri, Minh Ly Nguyen, Marina Mosunjac and colleagues assessed factors associated with anal precancer from the Atlanta Women's Interagency HIV Study cohort. The results were published in Clinical Infectious Diseases on March 3.

Hunter receives F31 award

Alisha "Rae" Hunter, a PhD student whose advisors are Drs. Christopher Porter and Curtis Henry, has received an F31 award from the National Cancer Institute for her project, "Delineating the role of calcineurin in modulating the immune response in acute lymphoblastic leukemia."

Emory celebrates medical students on Match Day

Emory University School of Medicine celebrated a virtual Match Day on March 20. At noon Eastern Time, medical seniors across the country learned the institutions where they will continue their training after graduation. Students, faculty, and supporters shared reactions and congratulations on social media.
