Woodruff Leadership Academy names 2021 fellows

Cam Escoffery, Doug Graham, Christine Kempton, Lana Uhrig, Allan Pickens, and Christina Wu are among the 22 fellows selected for the 2021 Woodruff Leadership Academy (WLA), a professional development program within Emory's Woodruff Health Sciences Center.

Natia Esiashvili, MD has been named to a two-year term as president of the Paediatric Radiation Oncology Society (PROS). The society works to establish world-wide standards, education, and advocacy in the field.

Winship to host virtual Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium
The Winship Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium will be held virtually on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021. Experts will lead case-based discussions and didactic lectures that address the latest procedures, technology, and medical treatments, including multi-disciplinary care approaches and clinical trials.

Winship names new Grand Rounds faculty leaders
Drs. Kimberly Hoang and Walid Shaib have been named as the new faculty leaders for Winship Grand Rounds. Hoang and Shaib will oversee the selection and coordination of speakers to cultivate an engaging agenda of internal and external experts throughout the academic year.
