Symposium to focus on cancer outcomes disparities in Georgia

The virtual Winship Scientific Symposium, "Addressing Disparities in Cancer Outcomes in Georgia," will be held over two half days on Nov. 16 and 17. The free, virtual event will feature keynote talks from Drs. Otis Brawley and Kevin Ward and more than a dozen speakers, breakout session leaders, and panelists.

Winship to host interactive career development panel

In conjunction with the Winship Scientific Symposium, Winship will host a virtual career development panel on Nov. 17 geared toward students and trainees. Panelists are Drs. Lawrence Boise, Kristin Higgins, Timothy L. Lash, Adam Marcus, and Jessica Wells.

Organized by Winship and Emory investigators, the 2020 International Chemical Biology Society Conference will be held as a virtual event, Nov. 11-13. Drs. Huw Davies and Monika Raj will chair the session, "Chemical technologies to promote drug discovery."
