Ramalingam to serve as editor-in-chief of journal CANCER

Winship Deputy Director Suresh S. Ramalingam, MD, has been named the new editor-in-chief of CANCER, a peer-reviewed journal of the American Cancer Society. Ramalingam, who has served as a section editor for the journal since 2011, will begin a 5-year editorship starting on July 1.

Bai presented his award lecture on April 22 during the 46th Annual ONS Congress.

Cancer Tissue and Pathology, one of Winship’s 11 shared resources, provides routine and advanced research histology services including automated multiplex immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence using up to six antibodies plus DAPI on the Ventana Discovery Ultra platform.
